Intensive Training Course 16 - 20 March 2020 at Turtle Bay Beach Club, Watamu, Kenya
A comprehensive, practical training module for doctors, rural health workers, nursing officers and allied health professionals who may have to treat snakebites anywhere in Kenya.
Contact JAAT by email or via online registration for enrollment information in the Events section of this website. This is a space limited course for health professionals.
This event is supported by the Global Snakebite Initiative, and Bio-Ken (who will sponsor 40 health care workers to attend the training course). Following the course the antivenom will be placed in all the major level 4 hospitals, health centres and high volume dispensaries which are prominent with snake bites. JAAT is also very grateful to Dr. Anisa Omar and Kilifi County Department Of Health Services for their valuable support and collaboration. The County Executive CEC has already received 20 vials of antivenom which will be distributed to high prevalent zone areas known for snake bites.
